In both the pure and impure realms of the world manifests the magical matrix of the amazing body, speech, and mind of the victorious ones, appearing as their enlightened activity. This single matrix manifests in a myriad of ways in accord with the needs and times as the victors' unwaning, ever-skillful activity. This being so, it is the nature of things that when those with excellent karma and aspirations come to ripen and are fit to be tamed and influenced, they will attain an excellent physical support for the sublime Dharma and come into the vicinity of the victorious ones.

In particular, we are currently in the fortunate period of time where the light of the wisdom and love of the thousand Buddhas shines upon this land.

Furthermore, the coming of the Karmapas—the embodiment of the activity of the Buddhas of all three times—was prophesied in many of the sutras of the definitive meaning. Just as prophesied, the sixth Buddha of the future, the lion's roar, then appeared as a pair of sublime beings, the victorious ones with red and black hats (Shamarpa and Karmapa), and the light of their jewel-like activity spread throughout the entire world. Through the power and blessings of the sunlight of their compassion, they became the refuge and protector of those with excellent fortune—the disciples of Malaysia. Since then, this 40th year anniversary shines a myriad of wondrous signs in the sky.

We have put this journal together with faith, respect, and in the spirit of rejoicing to commemorate their activities and great kindness.

​

Moreover, for many decades, Malaysian students and benefactors with great faith have served the Buddha Dharma with sincere and pure intention and, as a result, helped the teachings and sentient beings in all manner of ways. Their service has helped the teachings to remain and flourish.

​

In the future as well, we aspire that they can continue to serve the Buddha Dharma in the same way and thus bring about great benefit for themselves and others, both temporarily and ultimately.

​

Furthermore, in order that the precious teachings—the source of benefit and bliss—in general, and in particular the teachings of one's destined deity, may remain forever, may all those practising the Buddha's teaching truly turn their minds to the Dharma. May the Dharma become the path. May the path clarify confusion. And may confusion arise as wisdom! In this way, through the profound instructions of the gurus, may we be able to uphold the teachings authentically and bring about great benefit to the teachings and to beings! May we fulfil the gurus' wishes, and may we be able to perfect the two-fold benefit of oneself and others!

I wish that everyone could have pure aspirations in mind and endeavour in thoughts, words, and deeds.
